Hello
Meet Christine,
Equine Facilitator, Life Coach and
Access Bars Practitioner
My Story
Welcome to my website, where I am excited to share with you the powerful bond between humans and horses through facilitating transformative mindfulness experiences. I am a Montana native where I was raised on a ranch and was lucky enough to raise my children in the ranch way of life. You could say I am a western cowgirl. I am new to WI but I have come to feel at home with the strong family ties & wonderful friends here. I have always been active with community organizations and held numerous offices throughout my High School & adult life. I have many years of Communication and Leadership skills. I was Executive Director of the Powder River Community Endowment Fund for 20 years and part of many community organizations I loved and supported.
In my life I have suffered many losses, one of which was my husband and father to my three children. While my children were my rock and I stayed strong for them, I realized over time that I had not dealt with my loss in a healthy way. Instead, I worked harder and stayed busy to avoid confronting my feelings and the lack of closure I felt. However, after almost two decades of this approach, I realized that I was getting burned out and disconnected and needed to find a better way to cope.

I finally became aware that I was stuck in my life and wearing myself down. It was suggested to me that I take some time and get some help to figure out what I needed. So, four years ago, my life opened a new chapter. I moved to WI and started to work on myself by healing and growing and finding my self-worth. I became a Certified Life Coach through Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching. In December 2023 became a Certified Equine Facilitator and learned many ways to share the wonderful gift horses can give humans of all ages through mindfulness experiences. Just recently I became certified Access Bars Practitioner where I plan to incorporate into my workshops and future retreats. I had always wanted to help others in any way possible and after taking the Equine Facilitator course I was determined and passionate to start a business to do just that. Just Breathe with a Horse was started where I host & facilitate workshops and hopefully retreats in the future to share the amazing gifts horses can share. My long-term goal is to get Licensed as an Equine Gestalt Coach and be able to help more individuals in many self-struggling situations.
During trying times in my own life, I always turned toward my animals, especially my horses. At the time I did not know or understand the special talent horses have to help a person. It is amazing what a 1200 lb animal can teach you!
The Farm
I purchased this beautiful 32 acre farm summer of 2023 which is a peaceful and idyllic place to call home. I am slowly doing some improvements and plan to get some cattle after my fences are ready! Like they say "You can take the cowgirl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the cowgirl!"
PS I plan to get some baby goats, chickens and maybe some ducks and ..... : )
